The significance of Lundi de Pâques
les cloches de Pâques which means "magical holy flying bells" in French; gives out eggs to the children. Easter is a three day weekend in France and the third day is reserved the Easter Egg Hunt.
Church bells do not ring from 'Vedredi Saint' aka Good Friday to Easter Sunday in honor of the Death Of Christ and his resurrection. The bells would grow two little wings and dress up before flying to see the Pope. After visiting the Pope, the bells would come back with gifts.
